Dr. Myers is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of EMS, Emergency Medicine, Population Management, and Clinical Informatics. He has served as President of the National Association of EMS Physicians, has numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, and is a highly-sought speaker in the international arena. He previously was the Director and Medical Director for the Wake EMS System in Raleigh, NC where his efforts focused on improving cardiac arrest survival as well as offering alternative destinations for a wide-range of patients. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for ESO, enhancing clinical data collection, interoperability, and conducting research to improve the health and safety of communities on a large scale.
