PEPP represents a complete source of prehospital medical information for the emergency care of infants and children. Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the fourth edition curriculum of PEPP is designed to teach professionals how to better assess and manage ill or critically injured children. PEPP is a comprehensive, innovative, and dynamic course featuring case-based lectures, live-action video, hands-on skill stations, and small-group discussion.
This rollout includes the hands-on practice, small-group discussion, and final examination in the classroom. If the participant would like to add the online learning portion at no cost, that will be available in Summer 2020, which will give the participant the opportunity to earn an additional 6 CAPCE credits. In addition, eligible participants will have the ability to become PEPP Course Coordinators and can begin facilitating PEPP courses in their communities. Registration for this session will include a copy of the PEPP, Fourth Edition textbook.
