Paul Berlin

With more than 50 years of EMS experience, Chief Berlin has served as an EMS provider, consultant, education director, program director, and speaker. Most recently, he was Medical Division Chief for Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One, Gig Harbor, WA. Possessing a Master of Science degree focused on EMS systems and having worked for a variety of EMS systems, Chief Berlin has acquired an understanding of EMS from differing viewpoints. He is currently an instructor for the Center for Excellence in Education, CME training, in Chico, CA. Chief Berlin has been appointed to numerous committees and councils and has written many EMS-related articles for EMS publications and for the American Heart Association. In addition to serving as an active site visitor team captain for the CoAEMSP, he also serves on Board Committees, including Performance Review, Finance, ACCREDITCON Planning, and Governance.
